ODESSA, Mo. (September 23, 2024) – It was another weekend for the stat book for Xavier Doney, Doney-Lawson Racing, and the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars, not only accumulating back-to-back POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint Series top-ten finishes in Creek County Speedway’s Sooner Showdown on Friday and Saturday, September 20-21, but scoring a podium in the process, that of which accomplished in Saturday’s $7,000-to-win finale.
Doney, a recent POWRi WAR non-wing winner at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, finished sixth and third in the aforementioned top-ten appearances, the podium resulting from a six-spot rally from ninth. The bottom groove proved to be the best way around the Sapulpa, Oklahoma, oval, as Doney was able to pressure for the lead in his eventual podium outcome, showing his nose before a caution halted his forward progress.
In addition, the Odessa, Missouri, native and ace of the Schnee-Lawson Chassis, Motor Haven, Design Source Flooring, Able Group, Schaeffer’s Lubricants, No. 74 sprinter earned a heat race triumph in Friday’s opener.
Needless to say, it’s been an impressive few weeks for the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars wheelman, recently earning three consecutive top-tens in POWRi Outlaw starts at Lucas Oil Speedway on September 12-14, as well as the aforementioned POWRi WAR victory.

Xavier Doney, Doney-Lawson Racing, and the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars will continue their 2024 campaign with another POWRi start, this time visiting I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Missouri, on Saturday, September 28.

Xavier Doney finished sixth during USAC National Sprint Cars competition at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Friday, May 31. Qualified for the Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race finale at I-70 Speedway in Odessa, Missouri, on Saturday, June 8; he was scored 21st. Won WAR main event at Crawford County Speedway in Denison, Iowa, on Friday, June 14. Xavier Doney won WAR main event at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri, on Saturday, July 6 (finished second one night prior). Finished sixth in POWRi 410 Outlaw Sprint Series start at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, on Friday, July 26. Earned first-ever 410 sprint car victory at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, on Saturday, August 17. Earned three consecutive top-tens in POWRi Outlaw Sprint starts at Lucas Oil Speedway on September 12-14. Won POWRi WAR main event at Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday, September 14. Finished sixth and third in POWRi starts at Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, on Friday and Saturday, September 20-21.
