Zearfoss caps weekend with top-ten; Destiny Motorsports sets aim for the Sunflower State
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 15, 2018) – Despite a weekend complete with weather conflicts, travel and immense competition, the ‘Jonestown Jet’ Brock Zearfoss accomplished much during his three day turned two day sweep with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series, concluding his recent stretch of competition with a top-ten finish at the World’s Greatest Dirt Track – Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.
Zearfoss finished tenth at The Big E on Sunday evening after starting in the exact same position, a perfect rebound after finishing 15th at the Terre Haute (Ind.) Action Track on Saturday, October 13. It was Zearfoss’ first-ever visit to Terre Haute.
“It was a fun weekend. I think we were better than where we finished on Saturday, but we’ll take the top-ten at Eldora and run with it. Hats off to my team for their hard work. It takes time to build trust and find a comfort level with a new team. We are almost there,” Brock Zearfoss said about Destiny Motorsports. “We still have a lot of racing left. We are going to keep working hard. That’s all we can do.”
Brock Zearfoss and Destiny Motorsports will continue their 2018 season with a two-race sweep through the Sunflower State, first visiting Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., on Friday, October 19, followed by a stop at Dodge City Raceway Park on Saturday, October 20. Like so many other instances in 2018, Zearfoss has yet to make starts in Kansas, but looks forward to the opportunity.
“This has turned into quite the adventure for me,” Zearfoss said. “I have yet to see so many of these tracks, but I enjoy the experience. It’s only going to make me better.”
