JONESTOWN, Pa. (June 10, 2019) – It was a weekend to remember for Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss, not only ending his recent stretch of competition with a pair of top-five finishes during All Star Circuit of Champions competition, but highlighting his three-race campaign through the Empire State with a victory at Outlaw Speedway on Friday, June 7.
The All Star Circuit of Champions triumph, awarding a $5,000 top prize, was a first-ever for Brock Zearfoss, successfully adding an All Star win to an extensive racing resume that already includes a World of Outlaws victory during action at Williams Grove Speedway.
In addition to his wire-to-wire win at Dundee’s Outlaw Speedway, Zearfoss also accomplished a top-five performance the following evening at Stateline Speedway on Saturday, June 8, crossing under the final checkers fifth after starting tenth on the grid.
Although not resulting in a third consecutive top-five appearance, Zearfoss’ efforts on Sunday at Weedsport Speedway landed the Premier Motorsports/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/River City Wood Products/No. 70 sprint car 13th in the running order after starting in the exact same position.
“I wanted to get that win so bad for my team,” Brock Zearfoss said, a former Port Royal Speedway track champion turned All Star. “My guys have been busting their butts all season. The speed has been there the whole time, we just never had any luck to go with it. It feels amazing to finally get that monkey off of our back.”
Brock Zearfoss and Premier Motorsports will next tackle Ohio Sprint Speedweek; nine All Star Circuit of Champions events in nine days across much of the Buckeye State, all of which activating on Friday evening, June 14, at Attica Raceway Park. The ‘Jonestown Jet’ will enter Ohio Sprint Speedweek sixth in the All Star Circuit of Champions driver point chase.
