JONESTOWN, Pa. (September 30, 2019) – Brock Zearfoss’ rookie campaign with Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions came to a close on Saturday evening, September 28, at the legendary Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Although just missing the top-ten in his final Series attempt, Zearfoss’ evening at The Big E was complete with success, highlighting all on-track appearances with a dominating heat race victory. The ‘Jonestown Jet’ capped the program with a 12th place finish during the evening’s 25-lap main event; there were 42 sprint cars on hand for the $5,000-to-win finale.
“It was a long season, but it was fun and we really enjoyed ourselves. I can’t thank everyone enough for making our run at the All Stars possible, especially my team,” Brock Zearfoss explained, who finished fourth in the final championship standings on the strength of three Series victories including Attica’s Brad Doty Classic worth $10,000. “The All Star season is complete, but we still have a lot of racing left on our plate, that includes a big weekend back home in Central Pennsylvania.”
Wasting little time celebrating the completion of his first All Star season, Brock Zearfoss will continue his 2019 campaign with a doubleheader at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday and Saturday, October 4 & 5. Known to all as the National Open, the two-day blockbuster will feature the best of the best, all of whom battling for Saturday’s historic $65,000 top prize; the largest winner’s share in Williams Grove Speedway history.
Speaking of World of Outlaws competition, Brock Zearfoss’ most recent start against the Greatest Show On Dirt resulted in a top-ten appearance; eighth during night one of the coveted 4-Crown Nationals at Eldora Speedway on Friday, September 27.
