Zearfoss Earns Two Top-Ten Finishes with All Stars!
Race Weekend Ahead for ‘3Z’ Team in Central PA
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
Jonestown, PA (April 27th, 2015) – After taking a weekend off to regroup and rebuild after a fairly lengthy stretch of bad luck, Brock Zearfoss would return to ‘410’ sprint car competition on April 24th and April 25th and record back-to-back top-ten finishes with the All Star Circuit of Champions. Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Central Builders Supply, Leach’s Automotive Service, Meckleys Limestone, no. 3Z sprint car, joined the All Star Circuit of Champions at the Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway during the recent weekend; finishing no worse than tenth amongst a loaded field of traveling All Stars and ‘Pennsylvania Posse.’
“We were really happy with the weekend.” said Brock Zearfoss, “Feels good to end the weekend with two solid finishes; especially with the loaded field that we were with on both nights…this team works hard…we struggled there for a little bit but we kept moving forward and dug ourselves out of that slump…hopefully we can keep the momentum going and work towards that first win.”
‘The Jonestown Jet’ finished tenth with the All Star Circuit of Champions on Friday evening, April 24th at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; all before scoring a ninth place performance with ‘America’s Series’ on Saturday evening, April 25th at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. Zearfoss was one of 39 sprint cars signed in on Friday evening at Williams Grove Speedway. There were 44 ‘410s’ at ‘The Speed Palace’ for the annual Bob Weikert Memorial in Port Royal on Saturday.
“We put ourselves in a good position all weekend” explained Zearfoss, “We were able to transfer out of our heat race both nights and earn dash starting positions…thats huge when racing against a tough field of cars like that…allows us to build some confidence as well; something we’ve also been working on…we’ll keep working hard and keep moving forward.”
Brock Zearfoss will be in action three consecutive nights during the upcoming weekend; making his usual visits to the Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway this Friday and Saturday, May 1st & 2nd, followed by a Sunday night visit to the Susquehanna Speedway Park near York Haven, Pennsylvania on May 3rd. The three-race weekend will be one of potentially many for Brock Zearfoss Racing in 2015.
