JONESTOWN, Pa. (July 31, 2023) – Just in time for a high-profile August stretch through Missouri and Iowa, Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing found some recent success in the Empire State, not only qualifying for Weedsport Speedway’s Empire State Challenge dash on Sunday, July 30, but racing on to record their fifth top-ten result of the season, concluding the $20,000-to-win program with an eighth-place outcome after starting within the top-five.
Unfortunately for Zearfoss, his true potential was technically cut short on Sunday night, as the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native was involved in a slight mid-race stackup involving a few others such as James McFadden and Donny Schatz. Zearfoss was able to roll through the incident and continue, but not without a shuffle in momentum.
The “Jonestown Jet” remains ninth in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship standings, working to utilize his recent top-ten as a positive boost for the forthcoming Iroman and Knoxville Nationals.

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2023 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with a visit to Pevely, Missouri’s Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 for the annual Ironman 55 on Friday and Saturday, August 4-5.
