2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Championship Standings: Tenth | 7,198 points [ 878 points behind championship leader, Brad Sweet]

JONESTOWN, Pa. (September 26, 2022) – Despite a tough start to the weekend that resulted in a DNF outcome in Eldora Speedway’s annual 4-Crown Nationals, the product of hard contact with inside retaining wall during feature action, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss rallied in Outlaw fashion, concluding his two-race sweep through the Buckeye State with a top-ten score in a visit to Sharon Speedway on Saturday, September 24. 

A consistent appearance, nonetheless, Zearfoss, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, K1 RaceGear, BK Titanium, AL Driveline, No. 3Z sprint car, timed eighth-quick overall at the Sharon short track, continuing on with a runner-up finish in his respective heat race. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native started eighth on the A-Main grid and battled hard to maintain his place within the front of the pack. 

The World of Outlaws sophomore has accumulated 17 top-tens to date in 2022. 

“First of all, I want to thank all of our safety equipment providers for producing quality products. We never cut corners with safety and a hit like we took at Eldora proves that,” Zearfoss stressed. “To come back and score at top-ten at Sharon says a lot. Every day is a new day and you can’t dwell on prior results. We’re excited to be home for a few weeks. Working out of our shop will do wonders for us.”

Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their sophomore campaign with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series with Williams Grove Speedway’s 60th Champion Racing Oil National Open on Friday and Saturday, September 30 and October 1. The World of Outlaws and Pennsylvania Posse Showdown will offer up a $75,000 top prize.
