JONESTOWN, Pa. (July 26, 2021) – It was a much anticipated homecoming for Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss, as the “Jet” entered three World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series events in five days across his home state of Pennsylvania. Certainly familiar territory, the trio included a doubleheader at the famed Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg on Friday and Saturday, July 23-24.

Kicking off the week with Lernerville Speedway’s Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup on Tuesday, July 20, Zearfoss translated his trio of Pennsylvania starts into a pair of A-Main finishes, scoring a 12th-place performance in Lernerville’s $25,000-to-win Silver Cup, followed by a 16th-place score in Williams Grove’s Summer Nationals preliminary. Unfortunately, the former World of Outlaws winner at Williams Grove, and current World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year contender, missed the A-Main grid for Saturday’s $20,000-to-win Summer Nationals finale.

“That’s just the way it goes sometimes. We’re pretty excited to be spending some time at home, but we wanted to have some better outcomes in front of our home fans,” Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car. “I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work this season. It’s been an up and down ride for us, and if it hasn’t been for bad luck, we would have no luck at all. We have a lot of racing ahead. We’ll do what we can to get this ‘3Z’ up front in New York.”

The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will return to the state of New York for the first time in three years during the coming weekend. The doubleheader takes The Greatest Show On Dirt to Ransomville Speedway on Friday, July 30, then to Weedsport Speedway on Saturday, July 31. Zearfoss will enter the Empire State swing tenth in the championship standings padded by 12 top-ten finishes.
