JONESTOWN, Pa. (July 27, 2020) – Although kicking-off the weekend with a 16th-place performance during Lincoln Speedway’s annual Gettysburg Clash, Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing amped up their World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series efforts in a big way and rolled off back-to-back top-ten finishes during Williams Grove Speedway’s annual Summer Nationals, highlighting the weekend with a fifth-place outcome after starting tenth on Friday, July 24. A third-place finish during heat race action secured Zearfoss’ spot on Friday’s grid.
Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./C&D Rigging Inc./BAPS Auto Paints & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/Klick Lewis Cars/J.P. Adamsky Trucking/No. 3Z sprint car, backed-up his top-five result with another top-ten on Saturday, this time rolling home seventh during the $20,000-to-win Summer Nationals finale. The ‘Jonestown Jet’ now owns three top-tens with the Greatest Show On Dirt in 2020, the first occurring on the highbanks of Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, on May 23.
“That was a lot of fun. I can’t thank my team for all of their hard work,” Brock Zearfoss said, a two-time feature winner thus far in 2020. “Tye and Shane continue to do great things and I wouldn’t be where I am without them. It’s definitely not easy racing that many nights in a row, especially with that level of competition, no matter how close you are to home. They just keep digging and they allow us to represent our fans and partners well. Hopefully we can keep this going on Wednesday night at Lincoln.”
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2020 campaign with three starts in four days, first visiting the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway for the $10,000-to-win Drydene 40 on Wednesday evening, July 29, followed by consecutive starts at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Friday and Saturday, July 31 & August 1. Highlighting the weekend card, Port Royal’s Living Legends Dream Race will award a $10,000 top prize.
