JONESTOWN, Pa. (September 13, 2021) – Despite a tough outing in Silver Dollar Speedway’s Gold Cup Race of Champions, highlighting the weekend with a 16th-place score during Friday’s preliminary, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss has 21,000 reasons to reset his mind and regroup, as Keller Auto Speedway’s $21,000-to-win Tom Tarlton Classic will hit high gear for the Greatest Show On Dirt on Saturday, September 18.
A bittersweet weekend in the Golden State, the five-figure visit to Hanford, California, will conclude the 2021 World of Outlaws West Coast Swing.
Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, Simpson Racing Products, KX3 Racewear, BK Titanium, Blud Lubricants, AL Driveline, Bruce’s Speed Shop, RV 4 Wheel Drive, No. 3Z sprint car, will enter the Tom Tarlton Classic ninth in the current World of Outlaws driver standings, padded by 20 top-ten finishes to date.
“It was a tough weekend in Chico, but we enjoyed the experience and we’re already looking forward to getting back there hopefully next year,” Brock Zearfoss said, who owns one-career World of Outlaws victory. “It’s been a fun trip along the West Coast, but the plan is to leave California $21,000 richer. We’re due for a big one, so we’ll do what we can to give all of our supporters back on the east coast something to be proud of.”
Once Zearfoss’ West Coast trip is complete, the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native will immediately begin his trek home, set to visit Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, and Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, on Friday and Saturday, September 24-25. Williams Grove Speedway’s annual National Open will highlight action on Friday and Saturday, October 1-2. The National Open finale will award a $75,000 payday.
“I think we’re all ready to sleep in our own bed,” Zearfoss continued. “And to get a win at home…that’s the ultimate goal.”
