Zearfoss Prepares for High Dollar Weekend in Central Pennsylvania
Earns Top-Ten at Port on August 15

Jonestown, PA (August 18, 2015) – Brock Zearfoss will attempt to score multiple high dollar paydays during the upcoming weekend; competing for no less than $4,000 during his two-day venture. Zearfoss, pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Central Builders Supply, Leach’s Automotive Service, Meckley’s Limestone, #3Z sprint car, will make routine visits this Friday and Saturday, beginning with action at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, August 21, followed by a visit to the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday, August 22. Despite each facility being labeled as a “normal” destination for Zearfoss, the “Jonestown Jet” will have an opportunity to pocket a hefty $5,000 on Friday and $4,000 on Saturday.
“Always ready for busy weekends” said Brock Zearfoss, “We are lucky enough to live in an area where we can race two or three nights almost every weekend. We’ll take advantage of that opportunity as long as we can. This team works hard. We’ve been long overdue for a win. We want to make that happen this weekend.”
Williams Grove Speedway will host “Twin 20’s” action on Friday night, August 21. Each 20-lap feature event will award $2,500; allowing the potential for a $5,000 sweep by night’s end. In addition, Williams Grove Speedway will be distributing $5,000 worth of tires on Friday night, adding more to the overall value of the “Diamond Series” program.
Port Royal Speedway will award $4,000 on Saturday evening, August 22, to honor late track worker Bill Long. Brock Zearfoss has been a regular at the “Speed Palace” in 2015 and recently scored a top-ten finish during feature competition. The “Jonestown Jet” finished ninth last Saturday evening, August 15. Zearfoss also finished on the podium at Port Royal Speedway during the annual “Living Legends Dream Race” on August 8.
“We’ll see what we can do this weekend” said Zearfoss, “When we get things rolling, we can be tough to beat. Finding that right level of consistency has been the hard part for us. We’ll work as hard as we can to get up front this weekend.”
