Zearfoss Preps for PA Sprint Speedweek!
‘Jonestown Jet’ Plans to Race Most of Speedweek Schedule

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Jonestown, PA (June 16th, 2015) – After another disappointing weekend in central Pennsylvania, plagued with bad weather and a wrecked race car, Brock Zearfoss will turn his attention forward to the 25th Annual ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek.’ Zearfoss, driver of the familiar Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Central Builders Supply, Leach’s Automotive Service, Meckley’s Limestone, no. 3Z ‘410’ sprint car, will have one last weekend to prepare for the annual speedweek series which is scheduled to begin on Friday evening, June 26th at the Williams Grove Speedway. Zearfoss will prepare for his ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ venture this Friday and Saturday, June 19th & 20th at the Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway. The ‘Jonestown Jet’ has struggled this season keeping ‘Lady Luck’ in his corner, but hopes to create some change this weekend in the ‘Keystone State.’

“Its been tough on us, that’s for sure” said Brock Zearfoss, “We lost last Friday to weather so that hurt a little bit…on Saturday at Port Royal, we started on the front row and had a great run going but ran into some trouble…we ended up getting tangled with a lapped car and didn’t finish…it’s a tough deal but we’ll move on…luckily we can make it back out this weekend and get ready for speedweek…hopefully we can get some solid track time this weekend and move into speedweek on a good note.”

Brock Zearfoss will kick off the upcoming weekend at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, June 19th. After his Friday night visit to ‘The Grove,’ the  Jonestown, Pennsylvania native will move on to the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 20th. Zearfoss displayed success at each of the Pennsylvania half-mile ovals earlier this year; earning top-ten finishes with the All Star Circuit of Champions at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal.

“We’ve been good at The Grove and Port Royal this year” said Zearfoss, “We had two solid finishes with the All Stars at both of those tracks so that’s really motivating for us…we’ll try and do it again this weekend during regular shows.”

Zearfoss plans to compete during most of the 2015 ‘Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek’ schedule. If all goes according to plan, the pilot of the familiar ‘3Z’ will visit each of the scheduled stops on the mini-tour with the exception of Grandview Speedway on Tuesday, June 30th.

“If all goes well, we’ll run most of speedweek” said Zearfoss, “I have some work obligations during the early part of the week so Grandview may not work out…we’ll see what happens!”
