Zearfoss Satisfied with ‘Summer Nationals’ Performance
Back to Work in Central PA on Friday and Saturday

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

Jonestown, PA (July 28th, 2015) – The 2015 season has been quite the learning curve for Jonestown, Pennsylvania native Brock Zearfoss. With the good comes the bad, especially for Zearfoss. Despite how the results may read, the recent weekend was a good one for the “Jonestown Jet.” Zearfoss joined the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series for back-to-back programs at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, July 24th and Saturday, July 25th. The driver of Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Central Builders Supply, Leach’s Automotive Service, Meckley’s Limestone, #3Z, qualified for each of the “Summer Nationals” A-mains at “The Grove,” and highlighted the weekend with a 22nd place finish on Friday evening, July 24th.  Zearfoss also qualified for a World of Outlaws dash for the first time in his career on Saturday, July 25th, as well as earned a career-first World of Outlaws heat race victory.

“All in all, it was a good weekend for us” said Brock Zearfoss, “We qualified for both shows and that was a huge accomplishment. Our finishes weren’t as solid as they needed to be, but we definitely had a good car both nights. We made some adjustments as the weekend went on and they worked out for the better. Definitely excited for the future. This team has been showing some speed and that is the most important thing.”

Brock Zearfoss will return to competition this Friday and Saturday with a pair of events back in central Pennsylvania. The “Jonestown Jet” will return to the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, July 31st. A regular program is on tap at the historic speed plant. After his trip to “The Grove” on Friday night, Zearfoss will return to competition on Saturday, August 1st at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania. The Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile oval has been the Saturday night destination for Zearfoss for much of the 2015 season. The “3Z” operation owns top-ten finishes at Port Royal Speedway and Williams Grove Speedway.

“We’ll return to normal this weekend” said Zearfoss, “Excited to go back to Williams Grove and Port Royal and try some of the things we figured out while racing with the World of Outlaws. We are well into the downhill portion of the season so we are running out of time. Our goal is to get to victory lane. If we keep working hard, we’ll get there.”
