2022 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series Championship Standings: Tenth | 7,780 points [ 972 points behind championship leader, Brad Sweet]

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (October 17, 2022) – Despite poor luck plaguing his Nittany Showdown appearance at Port Royal Speedway, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing persevered in a big way and continued their sophomore campaign with the Greatest Show On Dirt with back-to-back top-ten appearances in the Midwest, concluding their visits to I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska, and Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, with sixth and ninth place finishes, respectively. Zearfoss started tenth on each of the weekend grids.

A great momentum kick before returning to Pennsylvania for the coveted Williams Grove Speedway National Open, Zearfoss’ top-ten sweep bumps his season total to 19 with this most recent, before the Nebraska and Kansas weekend, occurring at Sharon Speedway on September 24.

Zearfoss remains tenth in the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series championship standings, padded by a Series victory at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin.

“We needed a good swing like this, especially with our weekend at Port Royal ending in a mess,” said Zearfoss, ace of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Berkebile Oil Company, X-1 Race Cars, K1 RaceGear, No. 3Z sprint car. “This is a great momentum kick heading into the National Open. We’ve been victorious with the Outlaws at Williams Grove before and I’m confident we have the program to do it again.”
