JONESTOWN, Pa. (August 31, 2020) – Despite kicking-off the recent weekend with a sour start at Grandview Speedway on Thursday, finishing 18th after getting upside-down during heat race competition, the ‘Jonestown Jet’ rebounded in a big way and capped his long weekend with back-to-back top-ten performances, one of which a top-five during Selinsgrove Speedway’s Jack Gunn Memorial on Saturday, August 29. Zearfoss finished fourth at the Selinsgrove half-mile, bumping ahead one spot after starting fifth on the grid.

Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., BAPS Auto Paints & Supply, Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car, capped his weekend in Posse Country with another top-ten against Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions, this time scoring an eighth-place run during action at Bedford Speedway on Sunday, August 30.

With all eyes on Pennsylvania during the month of September, Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2020 campaign with a four-pack of starts over Labor Day weekend. The former Port Royal Speedway track champion will ignite the holiday weekend with action at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, September 4, followed by consecutive starts at Port Royal Speedway, Selinsgrove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Saturday through Monday, September 5-7.

“It was a pretty good weekend for us. That’s not how we wanted to get things started at Grandview, but we’ll put that behind us and look forward to a busy Labor Day weekend,” Brock Zearfoss said, a two-time sprint car winner in 2020 including one against the All Star Circuit of Champions. “The month of September is going to be busy. We not only have a lot on our schedule, but there is a lot of money on the line. I think we are more than capable of putting together some great runs this month and hopefully score a few more wins. My team makes it all possible. They work hard and they are ready to get rolling.”
