Zearfoss strong in starts at Clinton County and Port Royal; Brad Doty Classic and Kings Royal Week on coming agenda

JONESTOWN, Pa. (July 14, 2025) – Back-to-back nights of competition resulted in back-to-back top-fives for Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss, accomplishing said feats during starts at Clinton County Speedway (BZR 3Z) and Port Royal Speedway (Rich Eichelberger’s 8Z) on Friday and Saturday, July 11-12. Zearfoss, a former Port Royal champion who is currently tied for third in the 2025 standings, finished fourth and second, respectively, simultaneously bumping his stat card to 23 top-tens on the season, 14 of which within the top-five.

As noted, Zearfoss, backed by Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., Lobar Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, Tech61, Berkebile Oil Company, and Blue Mountain Wellness, launched his weekend with a fourth-place finish at Clinton County Speedway, kicking-off his evening’s effort with the fastest qualifying time followed by a heat race victory. 

At Port Royal Speedway, Zearfoss finished second, starting the Jim Kline Tribute 25-lapper from the outside of row three. As Lady Luck would have it, a caution on the final circuit (a cut tire for leader Justin Whittall) would give the “Jonestown Jet” an opportunity to pounce. Unfortunately, Troy Wagaman, Jr., would prove too strong, driving on to clinch the $10,022 payday.

“Overall, a great weekend for each of our teams. I thought we were strong enough to win on both nights, but to come out of the weekend with a ton of momentum is just as good, especially with such a big week ahead,” Zearfoss was quick to note. “Proud of everyone involved. I’m pretty privileged to be surrounded by so many great people, Rich Eichelberger especially. He allows me the opportunity to split my time between his and my own team and that says a lot about his commitment to the sport.”

Brock Zearfoss will continue his 2025 campaign with Attica Raceway Park’s Brad Doty Classic on July 15 (3Z) and Eldora Speedway’s Kings Royal Week on July 16-19 (3Z). Zearfoss is a former Brad Doty Classic champion at Attica Raceway Park, conquering the All Star Circuit of Champions to do so.
