Denver, PA – 9/4/12 – Denver, Pennsylvania native and Central Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car regular, Alan Krimes, raced his way to not only five consecutive respective finishes during the Labor Day holiday weekend, but also a victory; picking up the ‘410’ sprint car main event win at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday night, September 1st. Krimes, who drives the familiar Conestoga Valley Garage no. 87 on a regular basis in the heart of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory, put an exclamation point on his season’s consistency this past Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; earning five straight ‘410’ sprint car main event finishes inside the top ten, which also included two podium appearances, and a win. The victory Saturday evening was Krimes’ second win of the 2012 season, as he sits 8th in the current Central PA sprint car point series.

Alan Krimes earned his first three (3) top ten finishes of the weekend during ‘Jack Gunn Memorial’ competition at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, August 31st. The ‘triple 20’s’ format featured three separate twenty lap features Friday evening for the ‘410’ sprint cars; with the final twenty lap main event paying $5,000 to the winner. The Conestoga Valley Garage no. 87 team would earn a 10th, 9th, and 7th place finish, respectively, during the three individual main events. York, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected teammate, Cory Haas, captured the $5,000 finale.

After winning Lincoln Speedway’s ‘410’ sprint car main event on Saturday evening, September 1st, over Brent Marks and Danny Dietrich, Krimes would make the trip back to Williams Grove Speedway on Sunday night, September 2nd, for the annual Billy Kimmel Memorial. Krimes nearly doubled-up on his weekend win total on Sunday evening during the 25 lap, $3,600-to-win main event, but would come up one position short; finishing second just behind New Jersey native, Rick Lafferty. Krimes would hold off Davey Sammons, Brent Marks, and Doug Esh for the podium finish!

Alan Krimes will get back to action this Friday night at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania for the Night Before The 50. The All-Star Circuit of Champions will be invading the Juniata County Fairgrounds half-mile dirt oval this Friday and Saturday, September 7th & 8th, for the annual Tuscarora 50 weekend. The All-Star sanctioned weekend program will feature two complete shows on Friday and Saturday; with Friday night’s ‘Night Before The 50’ paying $5,000 to the winner. Krimes will only be a part of Friday night’s All-Star Circuit of Champions action at Port Royal Speedway, and will not be participating in the 50 lap, $11,000-to-win Tuscarora 50 on Saturday night!
