Big Diamond Notes:

Gates will be open overnight Thursday (May 31st) for any drivers that will be traveling or racing with the WoO in Delaware Thursday and want to drive straight to Big Diamond. You will be allowed to pull into the pits and park to stay overnight and service your cars in the morning. (Speedway officials asks that you do not park in areas designated with a red & white arrow). Security will clear all people from pits Friday afternoon prior to gates being opened.

Also there will be a special pit window for all Late Model teams. The Speedway has graciously agreed to waive their non-member pit price for all late model teams for this advent as per the Speedweek series contract.

June first at Big Diamond is also Kids/Little League night with Little Leagues layer from anywhere being admitted to the grands stands free if they are wearing their uniform shirt and cap. The speedway have a lot of great events plans for kids as they are the future of this sport.

Winchester Speedway Notes:

Winchester Speedway will be opening the pit gates at 1:00 on June 3rd for anyone that would like to get there early or needs to service the car.

Billy &  Beaner Zirkle of Zirkle Brothers Letterwerx in Winchester Virginia have contacted the Speedweek series and have added a $200 Hard Charger award to the June 3rd event at Winchester Speedway. “We wanted to give back to the drivers and Winchester is our home track. The Speedweek was a perfect time to do it” said Billy.

The brothers will be on hand and will present $200 to the hard charger during Victory Lane ceremonies.

The 4th Annual Appalachian Mountain Speedweek will get under way this coming Friday June 1st, at Big Diamond Speedway. A large field of cars are expected to take part in the six race series that will pay a Minimum of $5,000 to the winner of each race. The drivers will also be racing for a guaranteed $10,000 point fund that will be divided between the top 8 in points.
