Pittsburgh, PA (August 27th, 2014) – After earning back-to-back top-five finishes with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at the Mercer (PA) Raceway Park during the recent weekend, Danny Holtgraver will go back to work with ‘America’s Series’ this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 29th, 30th & 31st for a trio of UNOH All Star sanctioned events. Danny Holtgraver and Hunter Racing will join the UNOH All Stars at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday and Saturday, August 29th & 30th; all before rejoining the series a day later at the NAPA Wayne County Speedway near Orrville, Ohio on Sunday, August 31st. Each program will feature $5,000-to-win main events for the ‘410’ sprint cars; with the exception of Attica’s Friday night program only awarding a $3,000 pay day. Danny Holtgraver is a former UNOH All Star main event winner at each of the two Ohio venues he is visiting this weekend.
During recent ‘410’ competition, Danny Holtgraver scored two consecutive top-five finishes with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The pilot of the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H ‘410’ sprint car kicked-off the two-day Mercer Raceway Park weekend with a fourth place finish during feature competition on Saturday, August 23rd. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native would improve on his Saturday night success with a runner-up feature performance on Sunday evening, August 24th.
“We had a good weekend at Mercer…that place has always been pretty good to us” said Holtgraver, “Just gotta thank all of my guys…we had a pretty solid weekend so hopefully we can keep that momentum going this weekend at Attica and Wayne County…we’ve turned a lot of laps at Attica and Wayne County during recent seasons…hopefully we can put all of our notes together and get this 10H up front!”
