Brandon Matus and Ryan Moyer hoping for a little luck on Friday the 13th!

$13 Dollar Admission, but get a Cowboy decal for a buck!

Nostalgia Night brings back four decades of heroes

Sarver, PA (July 12, 2012) Jason Vorhees won’t be at the Action Track tomorrow night, but we’ll celebrate Friday the 13th in our own little way!  We’ll start off by dropping the price of admission to $13 for the night, but will very kindly ask for that $1 back as you pass through the gate to help fund Brian Steinman’s recovery from last week’s scary wreck in turn four.  Brian has undergone a pair of surgeries to stabilize his spinal column and has a long road to recovery, so every dollar will help!  In return, the first 200 fans that donate at least $1 will receive a “Get Well Soon” decal courtesy of Chunk at ZeroWraps and FullyInjected.com.  There will be a Chinese Benefit Auction at the speedway in two weeks, on Friday, July 27 as well.  More details on what will all be available for bidding as the event draws near!

This Friday will also be Nostalgia Night as Rappin’ on Racin’s Don Gamble and the fine folks from the Pittsburgh Circle Track Club will host “Old Timers Night” featuring dozens of retired drivers from the first four decades of Don Martin’s Lernerville Speedway.   Our guests from the Annals of Action Track History will enjoy a eat & greet meal courtesy of the Circle Track Club from 5:00-6:00 and then head in to the expanded vendor area from 6:00-7:00 to mingle with fans for autographs, pictures and some gold old fashioned bench racing!
