Brandon Spithaler celebrating in victory lane during his BOSS victory at Mercer Raceway Park back in May.

June 5, 2012) Evan City, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected stand out, Brandon Spithaler, will be in action two times in the upcoming weekend; with both weekend events involving traditional sprint car racing. Spithaler will compete with the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series this Friday and Saturday, June 8th and 9th, at the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio, and the Lawrenceburg Speedway in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. The non-wing ‘410’ sprint car series will visit the Southern Ohio Speedway on Friday night, rounding out the weekend at Lawrenceburg Speedway on Saturday. The BOSS series has three programs already in the books for 2012; with Spithaler claiming the victory in the most recent event. The winged ‘410’ sprint car competitor in Western Pennsylvania earned the BOSS wingless victory at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania back on May 19th. In Spithaler’s most recent non-wing start outside of BOSS competition, the Western Pennsylvania native rallied 10 positions to finish inside the top 10 at Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio; crossing the start/finish line 9th in the running order after starting 19th.

Entering this weekend’s BOSS double header, Spithaler sits 12th in the standings with one win to his credit. Spithaler also owns a winged sprint car victory at Mercer Raceway Park in 2012; with that coming during opening night for the ‘410’ sprint cars. Instead of piloting his own familiar Cyclewarehouse ’22’ this weekend, Spithaler will be back in the Tom Burkey owned 57B for both BOSS events.
