Cory Haas Closes Year at Williams Grove Speedway with Podium Finish!

York, PA (10/22/2012) – York, Pennsylvania’s Cory Haas earned another podium finish at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania this past Saturday evening, October 20th, during the annual ‘Fall Fest’ – features only program. The Central Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car competitor finished 3rd on Saturday evening during the 25 lap, ‘410’ sprint car main event; following fellow Pennsylvania Posse full-timers, Brent Marks, and winner, Rick Lafferty, to the checkers. Cory Haas, and the entire Michael Barshinger owned ’11C’ operation, ended the 2012 season at Williams Grove Speedway 11th in the final standings; with one feature victory to their credit at the speedway this season. Haas’ lone win of the 2012 season at Williams Grove Speedway came during the Jack Gunn Memorial; the victory was worth $5,000!

Cory Haas will be in action one last time in 2012; that coming on Saturday, November 10th, at the Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown, Pennsylvania. The 30 lap, $6,000-to-win, ‘Final Showdown’ at Susquenhanna Speedway Park will end the entire country’s 2012 season for ‘410’ sprint car competition.  Also included in this special program will be the popular 358 Sprint Cars.  The raindate will be Sunday, November 11.  Teams must be pre-entered by November 5th to be eligible for the $6,000 payday!
