Pittsburgh, PA (10/2/2012) – Danny Holtgraver Motorsports will return to familiar territory this Saturday evening, October 6th, as the ‘410’ sprint cars make their final appearance of the 2012 season at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway for the season ending ‘Monster Mania.’ The super sprints will be highlighted with a 21 lap main event, paying $2,100 to the winner on Saturday evening. The Kargo Quality Cars and Trucks/Alternative Power Sources/Westview Motors ‘D4’ team has visited Pennsylvania Motor Speedway victory lane on numerous occasions in recent seasons, and plans to revisit the front stretch for the winner’s check this Saturday night. The ‘410’ sprint cars will be joined by the super late models, and the BRP Modified Tour on Saturday night; along with a handful of other ‘PPMS’ weekly divisions.

“It’s a fun place to race and it’s very close to home” explained Holtgraver about PPMS, “We have been pretty good there every time we have raced there…hopefully this weekend is no different and we can snag a win to help close out the season in Western Pennsylvania.”

The 2012 season is coming to a close for Danny Holtgraver and the entire ‘Danny Holtgraver Motorsports’ operation. Only a handful of events remain on the team’s 2012 schedule. After their upcoming weekend appearance at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Holtgraver will then have exactly a week off before returning to All-Star Circuit of Champions competition on Saturday, October 13th. The All-Star Circuit of Champions’ event will be held at the world famous Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, and will officially end the 2012 All-Star campaign. Holtgraver currently sits 8th in the All-Star ‘National’ standings, while holding down third position in the current ‘Ohio Region’ rankings. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native also owns three wins in All-Star competition this season.

The Kargo Quality Cars and Trucks/Alternative Power Sources ‘D4’ team will close out their month of October at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania for the annual DIRTcar Round-up – ‘Steel City Stampede.’ The weekend-long season ending event at Lernerville Speedway will take shape on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday – October 25th, 26th, and 27th. Holtgraver, who is a former Lernerville Speedway track champion, owns a number of wins at the Sarver oval this season; including an All-Star Circuit of Champions victory over Labor Day weekend. The ‘D4’ team hopes to close out their month of October with an appearance in Lernerville Speedway’s ‘Sheetz Victory Lane.’

“We are ready to get back to Eldora and Lernerville” said Holtgraver, “The All-Star event at Eldora Speedway closes out their season so it would be great to run up-front at that show…Lernerville, as well…we like going there because all of our friends, family, and sponsors come to support us…winning the DIRTcar Round-up event would be extra special.”
