FREMONT, Ohio (September 14, 2020) – The “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael put together another impressive stretch in the Buckeye State during the recent weekend, this time securing back-to-back top-ten performances during action at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 11-12.

Michael kicked-off his two-day swing with a rally from 15th to finish tenth during action at Attica on Friday, September 11, trumping that result with a fourth-place run at Fremont Speedway on Saturday, September 12. Michael’s Fremont outcome commenced from the exact same position, locking himself into the $5,000-to-win Attica/Fremont Championship Series (AFCS) season finale with a heat race victory.

Top-ten finishes in northwest Ohio have become a regularity for the Plano, Texas-native, even doing so against Tony Stewart’s All Star Circuit of Champions during Attica Ambush action on Friday, September 4; Michael finished tenth from row 12.

“Hats off to this entire team. Things are clicking right now and we couldn’t be more excited,” Michael said, driver of the Advanced Architectural Stone, Crown Battery, Fremont Fence Company, Pro-Tech Services, Wood Heating and Air Conditioning, Kear’s Speed Shop, Wings Unlimited, Big D’s Pizza, No. 8M sprint car. “We’re always trying to find ways to improve and build speed. With sprint car racing, you’re always learning. It’s up to us to put our notes to good use, and that’s exactly what we’ve been doing. That next win is well-within reach.”

Michael and Michael Motorsports will continue their 2020 campaign with a Saturday night start at either Fremont Speedway or Atomic Speedway. A decision will be finalized later in the week.
