Dietrich rallies for podium finish at Lincoln, welcomes Bollinger Construction in time for busy PA schedule

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

GETTYSBURG, Pa. (June 22, 2020) – Despite being dealt a ninth-row starting position, ‘Double-D’ Danny Dietrich made the most of his Saturday night visit to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway and rallied 14 spots in 30 circuits, ultimately clinching his 11th top-five result of the 2020 season.

Crossing under the final checkers third in the running order, Dietrich was on the move right from the start, battling his way from 17th to eighth in 17 laps, eventually powering his way to third just before the two-to-go signal was given to the field.

For Dietrich, the Lincoln hard charge was a perfect test session, as well as momentum boost, as the Gettysburg, Pennsylvania-native will resume his 2020 campaign with Port Royal Speedway’s Keith Kauffman Classic, an All Star Circuit of Champions event, on Wednesday, June 24.

“That was a lot of fun,” Danny Dietrich said of his Lincoln performance, driver of the Gary Kauffman Racing/Weikert’s Livestock/Sandoe’s Fruit Market/Pace Performance/Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts/Drop Of Ink Tattoo/Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC/Self Made/Graver’s Garage/Racer’s New & Used Parts Warehouse/El Vista Orchards/Start 2 Finish Complete Property Maintenance/Bollinger Construction/No. 48 sprint car. “We felt really good. It would have been nice to have a few more laps, but we’ll take that result and move forward.”

Just in time for a busy stretch of competition in the Keystone State, including the 2020 edition of Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek, Bollinger Construction, one of the largest and most respected wood framing companies in the Mid-Atlantic-area, has joined Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing and will be a valued partner for the remainder of the 2020 season.

For 27 years, Bollinger Construction, Inc. has led the wood framing industry with unparalleled quality, professionalism and attention to detail. Their one-stop Turnkey Solutions provides customers with everything they need to complete the framing portion of any project. From lumber, to transport trucks and heavy machinery, to highly trained installation teams and mechanics, Bollinger Construction is your one-source turnkey provider for quality wood framing.

“We are pleased to have Bollinger Construction join our efforts for the rest of 2020,” Dietrich continued. “They are at the top of their trade, so to have the opportunity to represent their company is pretty special. They are passionate people and they care about sprint car racing. We’re going to work as hard as we can to win them some races.”

Justin Whittall sets aim on seven PA Sprint Speedweek stops

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

VINCENTOWN, N.J. (June 17, 2020) – The week all Pennsylvania race fans have been waiting for, especially amidst the chaos of 2020, is finally upon us, and Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall is just as excited.

Kicking-off with action at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 26, Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports will hit seven of the nine scheduled Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek programs, all of which awarding top prizes of no less than $5,000.

After his visit to the world-famous paperclip, Whittall will continue Speedweek action with stops at Lincoln Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28. A two-day break will eventually lead into action at Port Royal Speedway on Wednesday, July 1, followed by consecutive events at Hagerstown Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Thursday through Saturday, July 2-4.

With so much hype and anticipation placed on Speedweek, Whittall plans to take full advantage of the opportunity and use his seven-race campaign as a turning point in his 2020 season.

“We’re excited, that’s for sure,” Whittall said, driver of the JW Motorsports/Brotherton Brewing Company/Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC/Pioneer Auto Body/Mid-Atlantic Transport/Worldwide Bearings/FK Rod Ends/Stilo Helmets/JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry/Keizer Aluminum Wheels/Enterprise/Ground Blind Boys/No. 67 sprint car. “It’s a great way for our team to build some momentum heading into the second half of the season. We really didn’t have much of a first half considering everything that has been going on, but with so many big races later in the year, if you’re going to get hot, this is the time to do it. I just want to thank all of our partners for making a schedule like this possible. We’re privileged to have the support that we do.”

Before diving head first into his Speedweek agenda, Whittall will spend the upcoming Saturday at Port Royal Speedway, joining the weekly field for another edition of Open Wheel Madness. Recent results at the ‘Speed Palace’ include a 19th-place finish on Sunday, June 14.

Forced to compete in the evening’s B-Main, Whittall rallied to transfer into the 25-lap/$5,000-to-win feature and jumped from 22nd to 19th.

Zearfoss highlights Thunder Through The Plains with victory at Southern Oklahoma Speedway

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

JONESTOWN, Pa. (June 16, 2020) – Brock Zearfoss’ eight-race swing through America’s heartland was hot and humid, but it also proved successful, concluding the modern Thunder Through The Plains campaign with five top-ten performances, one of which a victory at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Oklahoma, on Thursday, June 11. The win, resulting in a $5,000 payday, was Zearfoss’ first of the season on the All Star trail, but second overall, also earning top honors during Open Wheel Nationals action at Park Jefferson International Speedway in late-April.

In addition to his victory, the Jonestown, Pennsylvania-native recorded top-ten finishes at Red Dirt Raceway (9th) on June 5, Devil’s Bowl Speedway (8th) on June 10, Monarch Motor Speedway (3rd) on June 12, and Lonestar Speedway (5th) on June 13. With all results considered, Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing concluded Thunder Through The Plains sixth the standings and is now fourth in the overall All Star Circuit of Champions driver standings.

“It was a long few weeks, but we had fun. To get a win at a track we’ve never seen before says a ton about my team and what we are capable of doing. Tye and Shane never gave up and they worked their asses off the entire time we were on the road,” Brock Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./C&D Rigging Inc./BAPS Auto Paints & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/Klick Lewis Cars/No. 3Z sprint car. “I want to thank all of our fans and partners for supporting us during Thunder Through The Plains. The group that backs this team is second to none. Without their support, a trip to the Midwest would not be possible. Our goal is to keep moving forward and hopefully find victory lane again very soon.”

With an off-weekend ahead, which will be spent at the Port Royal Speedway ‘Speed Palace,’ Brock Zearfoss’ All Star Circuit of Champions schedule will not resume until Wednesday evening, June 24, when the Series visits Port Royal for a special midweek edition of the Keith Kauffman Classic. The Wednesday night showcase will be followed by a trip to Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee, on June 27 & 28.
