Denver, PA – 8/21/12 – Denver, Pennsylvania’s Alan Krimes continues to turn heads week-in and week-out with relentless consistency. The pilot of the Conestoga Valley Garage no. 87 ‘410’ sprint car finished inside the top five once again this past weekend; earning a fifth place finish at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, August 18th, during the $5,000-to-win Brandon Little Memorial. Krimes not only earned a top five finish in the 33 lap main event, but also timed 4th fastest of the 28 cars signed-in, and finished 4th in his respective heat race. Brian Montieth was the event winner. Krimes, and the entire ’87’ team, will be back in action next weekend in Central Pennsylvania.

Krimes solidified himself as one of the top ‘410’ sprint car drivers in Pennsylvania earlier this year by finishing second in the Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek point standings. The pilot of the  familiar grey and blue ’87’ continues to ride inside the top 10 of the Speedway Motors Central PA Sprint Car Point Series while only having one (1) win in 2012.
