T.J. Michael Enters August with Momentum Shift, Scores Top-Tens with All Stars at Eriez and Tri-City

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

FREMONT, Ohio (August 4, 2016) – After a successful weekend in Western Pennsylvania, the “Texas Traveler” T.J. Michael will roll into his August schedule with plenty of positive momentum. The Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions rookie contender picked up a pair of top-ten finishes during two of his most recent Arctic Cat All Star starts, each occurring at facilities that were new to Michael’s repertoire. Michael finished eighth during Arctic Cat All Star main event competition at the Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pennsylvania, on Friday, July 29, followed by a ninth place performance at the Tri-City Raceway Park near Franklin, Pennsylvania, on Sunday, July 31.

“Pretty happy with our weekend. We had zero experience at each one of those race tracks so it felt good to come out with some solid finishes,” Michael said. “Really happy with this team. Everyone works hard and I appreciate all of their effort. Sometimes lack of experience puts us in a little bit of a hole at some of these tracks, but we always find a way to get ourselves out of it. It has been an exciting season for us. We have another full weekend of new tracks coming up. We’ll be ready for it.”

Michael, who will not participate in the 56th annual Knoxville Nationals in Knoxville, Iowa, due to efforts to rebuild for the remaining Arctic Cat All Star schedule, will now prepare for four events in four days with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions, traveling through parts of Central Pennsylvania before ending the four day road trip in Upstate New York.

The pilot of the Advanced Cast Stone, Fremont Fence Company, Kear’s Speed Shop, Shell Shock, Hinchman Suits, Snap-On, Kistler Racing Engines, Maxim Race Cars, MJ Webb Enterprises, No. 8M will join the Arctic Cat All Stars on Thursday through Sunday, August 18-21, at Grandview Speedway, Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway, and Lebanon Valley Speedway. The first three scheduled programs will each award $5,000, capped off with the $7,000-to-win visit to West Lebanon, New York.

T.J. Michael is currently seventh in the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions title chase, earning six top-ten finishes and 28 feature starts.
