Mechanicsburg, PA (April 27th, 2013) – Denver, Pennsylvania’s Alan Krimes rolled home inside the top five on Friday night, April 26th, at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; finishing fifth (5th), officially, during the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ 30-lap main event. Krimes, unfortunately, would have to do it the hard way on Friday evening; earning a spot in the UNOH All Star main event by way of transferring through the program’s 12-lap consolation B-main. The pilot of the Conestoga Valley Garage no. 87 ‘410’ sprint car would then charge seven (7) positions during the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win UNOH All Star main event; finishing fifth (5th) at the flag-stand after starting from the outside of the sixth row.

The former Williams Grove Speedway winner kicked off his evening by earning the seventh (7th) fastest time of the night during qualifying time trials with the UNOH All Stars, but would fail to transfer through his respective heat race; thus, forcing the Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ team to run the evening’s consolation B-main. Krimes would start the B-main from the inside of the second row and rally to a victory. Don Kreitz Jr. was the $5,000 UNOH All Star victor at Williams Grove Speedway. Fred Rahmer, Tim Shaffer, Lance Dewease, and Alan Krimes rounded out the top five. There were forty-three (43) UNOH All Star teams signed in for competition. For a complete UNOH All Star rundown from Friday evening, April 26th, please visit Williams Grove Speedway online at www.williamsgrove.com.

Alan Krimes will be back in action on Saturday evening, April 27th, at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The 2013 Lincoln Speedway winner finds himself second (2nd) in the current Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ sprint car driver standings. Krimes, who is chasing a career-first Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ Track Championship in 2013, has earned not only one (1) victory at the speedway so far in 2013, but has also earned four (4) top five and seven (7) top ten finishes at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway. Krimes will also enter the evening well inside the top ten of the current Central PA sprint car point standings. The Denver, Pennsylvania native finished seventh (7th) during his last start at the Abbottstown oval.
