South Park, PA (June 22nd, 2014) – Perhaps what has grown into one of the nation’s most notorious and sought-after super late model crown jewel events is next on Jared Miley’s 2014 racing schedule. The 8th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com kicks-off this Thursday evening, June 26th at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania; launching a three-day racing program sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. Jared Miley, a recent Lernerville Speedway main event winner and former track champion, will be in competition all three days at ‘The Action Track’ with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series; searching for a career-first national level victory and undoubtedly the largest pay day of his career.
The 2014 edition of the Firecracker 100 will launch on Thursday evening, June 26th with a $6,000-to-win preliminary program. Friday evening, June 27th will see a similar format; with all entries once again participating in a $6,000-to-win preliminary World of Outlaws Late Model Series program. The finale for the 2014 Firecracker 100 will take place on Saturday evening, June 28th; complete with a 100-lap/$30,000-to-win super late model main event. Jared Miley, who pilots the Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Rocket Chassis, FullyInjected.com, no. H1 super late model, is a four-time main event winner already in 2014, and has the proper momentum to make some noise this weekend when the national travelers are in town. ‘The Jet’ owns one feature victory at Lernerville Speedway in 2014; holding off current WoO LMS full-time traveler Chub Frank in the process. Miley will be a sure local favorite during all three days of Firecracker 100 competition.
During recent super late model competition, ‘The Jet’ Jared Miley competed with the National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) Northeast Late Model Series on two separate occasions during the recent weekend. After an unfortunate ‘DNF’ on Friday evening, June 20th at the Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania, Jared Miley would do a dramatic rebound and finish third (3rd) with the series at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania on June 21st.
