The 40 lap event drew 26 entries with Jason Sides setting fast time for the evening. Schatz, a 4 time consecutive World of Outlaws Champion, was followed across the line by Jason Sides and Steve Kinser when the checkers flew.Local upper midwest hotshoe, Mark Dobmeier, was 5th- after leading the first portion of the 40 lapper. The event on Sunday at Husets Speedway was cancelled due to ongoing rain showers throughout the evening. No make up date has been determined.
The ‘Greatest Show on Dirt’ next invades the Dodge City Raceway in Dodge City, Kansas for the two night Boot Hill Showdown next weekend. Schatz currently sits on top of the points standings by 29 markers over the Brownsburg Bullet, Joey Saldana going into the Kansas event.
