Cory Haas Earns First Win of the Year at Williams Grove Speedway
Back in Action Saturday Evening, April 13th, at Lincoln Speedway

Mechanicsburg, PA (April 12th, 2013) – York, Pennsylvania’s Cory Haas finally removed the monkey off of his back on Friday evening, April 12th, by winning his first ‘410’ sprint car main event of the season at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. Haas, who pilots the Michael Barshinger Builder, Embee & Son, Inc., York P-B Truss, Inc,. ‘11C’ sprint car, earned the 25-lap main event win on Friday evening over Central Pennsylvania legend, Fred Rahmer. The former Williams Grove Speedway ‘358’ Track Champion started the ‘410’ sprint car main event from the outside of the third row and rallied five positions to earn the top spot, and eventually the victory. A win was just what the doctor ordered; as Haas came into the evening’s program eleventh (11th) in the Williams Grove Speedway driver standings; and 12th in the Central Pennsylvania sprint car standings. Rounding out the top five in the main event finish were Gerard McIntyre Jr (3rd), Brian Montieth (4th), and Adam Wilt (5th). There were twenty-two (22) ‘410’ sprinters signed in for action at Williams Grove Speedway on April 12th. Cory Haas, and the entire Mike Barshinger owned ‘11C’ operation, will be back in action Saturday evening, April 13th, at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania for ARCH Night. The former Lincoln Speedway winner will roll into the Pigeon Hills facility seventh (7th) in the current Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ sprint car standings; on the strength of one (1) top five and three (3) top ten finishes. Cory Haas is win-less so far this season at the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway, and would like to continue his recent winning trend on Saturday evening at the 3/8’s mile oval.
