The Amsoil USAC National Sprint Car Series will be at full throttle for the next few days; beginning tonight at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, for the annual Ultimate Challenge. The best non-wing drivers in the country will be on hand in south central Iowa for a shot at taking home the $15,000 winner’s share, and a USAC national win.
After tonight, the ‘other greatest show on dirt’ will then head south to Dodge City, Kansas for two nights of racing action this Friday and Saturday, and then back east to Grain Valley, Missouri for a stop on Sunday night; equaling three races in three days for Levi Jones and the USAC national sprints.
This weekend will mark the only appearance of the USAC National Sprint Car Series at the Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kansas. Action is set to begin Friday, August 12th and conclude on August 13th at the Kansas state-of-the-art facility. At the conclusion of the Saturday night event at Dodge City, the traveling non-wing series will venture to Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Missouri for a Sunday night appearance. This Sunday night will mark the end of the midwest swing for the Amsoil USAC sprints. Levi Jones currently leads the sprint car points standings; with Chris Windom, Jon Stanbrough, Bryan Clauson, and Hunter “Percent” Schuerenberg rounding out the top 5.

Fully Injected will be bringing another episode of ”Behind the Scenes” to the site next week; as Hermitage, PA native, Adam Kekich, will be welcoming the Fully Injected camera to his race shop to visit him and the 5K team as they prepare for another weekend of western PA action. Kekich and his 410 ride compete weekly at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania; as well as the Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio, when the 410 sprints are in action on special occasions. This is Adam’s first year in a 410 sprint car; recently moving up from limited sprint car competition. Adam, the recent Hickory High School graduate, currently sits fifth in the Mercer Raceway Park 410 sprint car division point standings; just 61 markers behind Full Injected teammate, Scott Priester. Stay tuned as www.fullyinjected.com will highlighting Adam’s hometown race shop, and where he calls home, in the next episode of ” Team Fully Injected: Behind the Scenes.”
