“Pittsburgher 100” Next for Jared Miley Racing
Earns Top-Ten vs. Outlaws at Eriez Speedway

Pittsburgh, PA (August 24, 2015) – Western Pennsylvania’s own Jared Miley will face-off against the nation’s top super late model competitors this weekend as the 27th annual “Pittsburgher 100” is set take over Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial on August 28 & 29. Miley, a former “P.P.M.S.” track champion and recent main event winner, will join the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at “Dirt’s Monster Half-Mile” this Friday and Saturday; searching for a career-first series victory, as well as the $20,000 grand prize. It will be the first and only appearance by the LOLMDS at Pittsburgh in 2015, which will kick off with qualifying and heat race competition on Friday night, August 28, followed by the historic 100-lap, “Pittsburgher 100” main event on Saturday, August 29. Jared Miley hopes to defend home dirt against the outside invaders and cash-in a career-high payday.
“Really looking forward to the weekend” said Jared Miley, “This is one of the biggest races on our schedule and for it to be really close to home is special. We’ve been racing at Pittsburgh since we started. We have a lot of laps there and have been pretty successful. The goal is to qualify well on Friday night and put ourselves in a great position to transfer through our heat race. We’ve been on a pretty positive streak lately with wins and solid finishes, so we’ll work to keep that going in front of our home crowd.”
The “Pittsburgher 100” weekend will actually begin on Thursday evening, August 27, with a full regular program at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. Miley plans to enter the “Thursday Night Thunder Action Event” and record valuable track time before the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series invaders make their appearance on Friday evening.
Jared Miley and the Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Ireland’s Bait Shop of Elk County, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, DLB Metals, Schaeffer’s Racing Oil, #H1 team will enter the weekend coming off of a top-ten finish against a different national traveling series. “The Jet” joined the World of Outlaws Late Model Series at the Eriez Speedway near Erie, Pennsylvania on Sunday night, August 23. Miley finished 8th during main event competition; rallying two positions during the non-stop, $10,000-to-win, fifty-lapper. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native has a total of seven victories in 2015; five of which during super late model competition.
