Brock Zearfoss Gains Experience During First Ohio All Star Trip
Williams Grove Speedway “National Open” Begins Thursday

Jonestown, PA (September 29, 2015) – The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss made the trek west to Ohio during the recent weekend, joining the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions for a pair of $5,000-to-win events at two different ovals. Despite losing half of the Ohio doubleheader, the venture west proved to be beneficial for the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native; gaining valuable experience and track time in an area foreign to the “3Z” team.
After Mother Nature washed away racing plans on Saturday night, September 26, at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Brock Zearfoss Racing followed the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions north to the Millstream Speedway in Findlay, Ohio, for a Sunday night showcase on September 27. The “Pennsylvania Posse” representative qualified 14th out of the 33 cars entered at Millstream Speedway and went on to finish fourth during heat race competition. Zearfoss started 14th during the 30-lap, $5,000-to-win main event and finished 20th.
“Reading results can be deceiving” said Brock Zearfoss, “I learned a lot on Sunday night and had a lot of fun doing so. We qualified well and that put us in a good position to transfer through our heat race. Before the feature, we messed around with a few things to get the car where we thought it needed to be. That was my first time at Millstream so we were in a little bit of a guessing game. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get going in the ‘A.’ We made the best of the trip and took advantage of every lap we were on the track. I hope to make it back there next year.”
Brock Zearfoss will turn his attention back toward “Posse Territory” this weekend as the “Jonestown Jet” prepares for the 53rd annual Champion Racing Oil “National Open” at Williams Grove Speedway. The 2015 edition of the “National Open” will feature three full programs for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and “Pennsylvania Posse,” beginning with preliminary competition on Thursday and Friday, October 1-2. The $50,000-to-win finale is set for Saturday evening, October 3.
