Brock Zearfoss Keeps Momentum Rolling with Back-to-Back Top-Ten Finishes
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
JONESTOWN, Pa. (April 18, 2016) – The “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss has been on a roll in Central Pennsylvania, and will work to continue that trend during the upcoming Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions invasion. Zearfoss earned back-to-back top-ten finishes in “Posse County” during the recent weekend, including a runner-up finish at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” on Saturday night, April 16. Before his podium performance in Port Royal, the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native finished seventh at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, April 15; a second consecutive top-ten finish at the world famous half-mile. Zearfoss will now begin preparations for a triple-header weekend in the heart of Central Pennsylvania, two of which against the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions.
“We are starting to click and it feels great,” said Brock Zearfoss, pilot of the familiar Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Meckley’s Limestone, Central Builders Supply Co., Leach’s Automotive, No. 3Z. “I have the hardest working team in the pit area and that is really starting to show. Momentum is key in this sport. Now that we have some, we’ll use it to our advantage this weekend. I just want to thank all of those who are involved with this race team. I have a lot of positive support and a great group of guys who bust their butts. We’ll work to get that first win this weekend.”
Brock Zearfoss will battle on three consecutive nights during the upcoming weekend, beginning with competition back at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg. The Tommy Hinnershitz Memorial will headline action at the paperclip on Friday night, April 22, awarding a $30,000 purse with $6,000 going to the main event winner. Zearfoss did not participate in the 2015 edition of the Hinnershitz.
Zearfoss’ upcoming weekend will continue on Saturday and Sunday, April 23-24, with back-to-back appearances with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions. “The Jet” will join the regional travelers at the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal on Saturday night for the inaugural Keith Kauffman Classic, followed by a Sunday evening visit to the Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove for the Ray Tilley Classic. Each Arctic Cat All Star program will award a $5,000 top prize, raising the weekend’s overall potential to $16,000. Zearfoss has shown success with the Arctic Cat All Stars during prior starts, recording three top-ten finishes in four feature starts in 2015.
“I have a great feeling about the upcoming weekend,” said Brock Zearfoss. “Our team has a lot of confidence right now and that will play a huge role in the upcoming weekend. Qualifying will play a big part in all three shows this weekend. We need to time well and put ourselves in great starting position for the heat race. That will help create a lot of potential. We can’t wait to get started.”
