Zearfoss will work for big payday during upcoming Dream Race at Port Royal Speedway
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
JONESTOWN, Pa. (July 23, 2018) – After back-to-back weekends of World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series competition resulting in a trio of Eldora Speedway A-main starts during Kings Royal weekend, reigning Port Royal Speedway sprint car track champion, Brock Zearfoss, will return to the “Speed Palace” this Saturday night, July 28, in search of a $10,000 payday. Zearfoss, who owns one victory at the Juniata County Fairgrounds already this season, will hunt for win number two during the annual Living Legends Dream Race; one of Central Pennsylvania’s highly sought after prizes.
“It would be an honor to win the Dream Race at Port Royal Speedway,” Brock Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 3Z sprint car. “The top prize is nice, but just to win an event that honors so many great drivers, drivers that I look up to, would be a massive honor in itself. I’m always excited to get back to Port Royal Speedway. We’ve been successful there over the last two seasons. Adding the Dream Race to my racing resume would be pretty special.”
Before Dream Race competition, Zearfoss will return to Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, July 27. The “Jonestown Jet” owns one victory at The Grove thus far in 2018 which occurred on April 20, one night before earning his first Port Royal Speedway victory of the season.
Brock Zearfoss joined the World of Outlaws for two events during the recent weekend, challenging the Greatest Show On Dirt during the Gettysburg Clash at Lincoln Speedway on Thursday, July 19, followed by Summer Nationals action at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 20. Zearfoss qualified for each main event, but highlighted the weekend with a 24th place finish during the annual Gettysburg Clash.
“Not how we wanted our weekend to end, but we’ll shake that off and move forward,” Zearfoss said about his pair of Outlaw starts. “On Friday at Williams Grove, I felt a bad vibration and pulled off. I think we were more than capable of a great finish that night. Those things happen. We’ll try to improve and get some momentum built this weekend.”
