VINCENTOWN, N.J. (August 5, 2021) – The coming weekend will be business as usual for Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall, as the former Pennsylvania Posse winner plans to return to the heart of the Keystone State, set to try his hand in another routine doubleheader at Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway, respectively. The weekend will kick-off, officially, on Friday, August 6, with the annual Billy Kimmel Memorial at Williams Grove. The event will be 25 laps in distance and will award a $5,500 top prize.
Port Royal Speedway will be next on Whittall’s weekend agenda with a visit set for Saturday, August 7. Although Whittall has yet to be victorious at the Juniata County “Speed Palace,” the New Jersey youngster has been close, finishing third during Open Wheel Madness competition on Saturday, April 24. Incidentally, Whittall finished third during Port Royal’s Open Wheel Madness event in 2020.
“We’re always ready to go again,” Whittall said, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Brotherton Brewing Company, Beechwood Landscape Architecture and Construction LLC, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, FK Rod Ends, Stilo Helmets, Keizer Aluminum Wheels, Enterprise, Ground Blind Boys, No. 67 sprint car. “The first win is always the hardest to get, but unfortunately, the second one has been tough to achieve, too. Regardless, we have a great team and I’m proud to be associated with everyone who helps this No. 67 get around the track. We’ll do our best to win one for the Kimmel family on Friday. That’s our first stop.”
Whittall earned his first-ever Central Pennsylvania victory during action at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 4. The win, offering additional bonus money, awarded a $6,000 top prize, leading every lap in the process while holding back Kyle Moody and Danny Dietrich.
