KNOXVILLE, Iowa (June 10, 2024) – Another evening at the Sprint Car Capital of the World resulted in another double top-five for “A-Aron” Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), not only finishing fourth in the program’s 410 sprint car segment, but racing on to claim victory during 360 action. The triumph, accomplished from the inside of row two, was the 12th of Reutzel’s 360 career at Knoxville Raceway, securing the Clute, Texas, native a $2,000 payday in the process.
Reutzel, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, No. 87 sprint car, took command of the non-stop 18-lap contest on the second circuit, hitting the back of the field as early as lap nine. Suffice it to say, Reutzel maneuvered well.
“It’s always crazy, the lapped traffic with the 360’s,” Reutzel explained. “It seems like we catch them a lot faster, and they’re usually all racing. It makes for a lot of fun. It definitely gets interesting at times. Our car was pretty good tonight. We were off a little early, but it got better and better on the long run. This is the motor (Moyle) we won the 360 Nationals with (2022). It hasn’t finished worse than second. This might be the last night on it before being freshened. It has a hell of a track record.”
As noted, Reutzel finished fourth in the evening’s 410 sprint car program. The Texan started seventh on the main event grid, kicking off preliminary competition with the ninth-fastest qualifying time, racing on to finish second in his respective heat race.
Reutzel’s 360 preliminary effort included the fastest qualifying time of the night, soon followed by a fifth-place finish during heat race competition. A-Aron’s eventual victory bumped his season total to six.

Tentatively, Ridge & Sons Racing and Aaron Reutzel [No. 87] will continue their 2024 campaign with High Limit Racing’s $55,555-to-win Bikini Zone Eagle Nationals at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska, on Tuesday, June 11, followed by a two-day World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series clash at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Friday and Saturday, June 14-15.
