Ringgold, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected supporter, Joe Martin, will be on the road three days this weekend racing all across Western Pennsylvania in crate late model competition! Martin and his JM2 Motorsports team will be in action Friday night at Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, Pennsylvania; Saturday evening at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania; and Sunday evening at Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pennsylvania!
The Martin Farms ’55’ will visit Dog Hollow Speedway for a regular night of racing on Friday night, May 11th. The FASTRAK crate late models are a regular division at the 4/10’s mile oval every Friday night. The venue has had two consecutive rain outs, leaving racers and fans desperate for Friday night action. On Saturday night, May 12th, Martin will venture to Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway for round #1 of the Pro Late/FASTRAK Late Model Sizzler Series. There are seven Sizzler events scheduled at the ‘Monster Half Mile’ in 2012; with round #1 paying $1,000-to-win/$100-to-start this Saturday evening! The event will be 25 laps in distance; which is also awarding a $50 bonus to the race’s hard charger. Check out www.ppms.com for all of the information!
On Sunday, May 13th, the top FASTRAK crate late model teams in the northeast will travel to Eriez Speedway in Erie, Pennsylvania for the $1,200-to-win FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series event! Martin is a full time competitor with the FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series and currently sits 11th in the overall standings; just one point outside of the top 10! The FASTRAK event at Eriez Speedway will end a three race for the JM2 Motorsports program! For more information on this event, check out www.fastraknortheast.com / or www.eriez-speedway.com!
