Rimersburg, Pennsylvania native and Fully Injected teammate, Scott Priester, is ready to go topless on Saturday night! The ‘410’ sprint car veteran and former Challenger Raceway Track Champion is set to race with the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series for one night of action at Mercer Raceway Park on May 19th! No wings will be necessary Saturday night, as the BOSS Series is a regional ‘410’ wingless sprint car series that tours parts of Ohio and Pennsylvania; showcasing traditional sprint car racing and true driving talent. Priester has a history racing with the wings off; participating in past non-wing shows at Western Pennsylvania tracks.
Priester races primarily in Western Pennsylvania; piloting his own ‘winged’ familiar red no. 11 at Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park, while also being the full-time pilot of the Dionise Racing no. 15. Priester has been on a recent hot streak at Mercer Raceway Park; recording a runner-up finish during the last night of regular weekend competition, before registering a 15th place finish with the All-Star Circuit of Champions at the Mercer 3/8’s mile just last weekend. The former Lernerville Speedway winner hopes to use his knowledge and experience without the wings to help defend his home turf against the incoming travelers.
The Western Pennsylvania native currently sits second in the Mercer Raceway Park ‘410’ sprint car standings; just 11 points behind Kittanning native and Fully Injected teammate, Rod George.
