Sarver, PA – Hard as it may seem to believe, we are at the unofficial mid-point of the 2012 Fab Four Racing season as the Mid-Season Championships are on tap this Friday, June 22. And you know what that means . . . Fab Four Racing on steroids as each Mid-Season Championship feature winner also secures a track provisional for the marquee event for their respective division.
Friday Night’s Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Model feature winner will join Budweiser Points leader Jared Miley in the 6th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com. Miley is locked into the $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100 A-Main by virtue of being the Budweiser Points leader and the fact that he enters Friday Night with a 40+ point leader over John Garvin Jr.; guaranteeing the fact that he will maintain the points lead after the Mid-Season Championship.
The winner of the Ti22 Performance DIRTcar Sprint feature will secure a track provisional for the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup Twin 30s on Tuesday, July 17 featuring the World of Outlaws Sprints. The Diehl Auto Group DIRTcar Northeast Big Block Modified feature winner will lock in a track provisional for the BRP Finale/Kodiak Memorial at the DIRTcar Round Up Steel City Stampede on Thursday-Friday-Saturday, October 25-26-27. And, last but not least, the winner of the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman/Stock feature will pocket a track provisional for the Autumn-Motive Fest 2012 Sportsman/Stock Spectacular on Saturday, September 8.
Despite the increased level of competition and everything that’s on the line, there will be no increase in admission prices! Adults are $14, Seniors $10, Students 11-17 $7 and kids 10 & under are always FREE into general admission! Gates open at 5:00 and racing starts at 7:30 sharp!
Kevin Schaeffer (Ti22 Sprints), Jared Miley (Precise Lates), Dave Murdick (Diehl Mods) and Corey McPherson (Pic-A-Part Sportsman) enter the event as Budweiser Points leaders in their respective divisions, while Brian Ellenberger (Ti22 Sprints), Davey Johnson (Precise Lates), Dean Pearson (Diehl Mods) and Corey McPherson (Pic-A-Part Sportsman) enter the event as defending race leaders. However, due to unique redraw format of the Mid-Season Championships, these defending feature winners will not have to start 10th (12th in Sportsman), as feature lineups will be redrawn by Top Ten in Budweiser Points; assuming those drivers qualify into the A-Main directly from their heat races.
