Evans City, PA (August 15th, 2013) – Although Brandon Spithaler will have plenty of seat time behind the wheel of a ‘410’ winged sprint car during the next five (5) days, it is the non-wing competition that most excites the Evans City, Pennsylvania native. Spithaler, who is the current Lernerville Speedway and Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) non-wing point leader heading into the upcoming weekend, will get an opportunity to snag four (4) more main event wins this weekend to add to his three (3) already earned this season. Brandon Spithaler will be in action on four (4) separate occasions over the next five (5) days, with two (2) of those events being non-wing ‘410’ sprint car programs. Spithaler pilots his own familiar Cycle Warehouse ‘22’ during winged competition; and pilots the Tom Burkey owned/Superior Tank & Trailer sponsored ‘57B’ during non-wing competition.
Action will kick-off this weekend for Brandon Spithaler on Friday evening, August 16th with ‘Fab Four’ competition at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. The winged ‘410’ sprint cars compete weekly at the Sarver 4/10’s mile oval; with Brandon Spithaler leading the charge in the 2013 Lernerville Speedway sprint car track championship hunt. Spithaler owns one (1) victory at the Lernerville Speedway in 2013; as well as five (5) podium appearances. This Friday’s ‘Fab Four’ event at the Lernerville Speedway will be the first of three (3) remaining ‘Fab Four’ point races left on the 2013 Lernerville Speedway schedule. Non-wing sprint car competition for Brandon Spithaler will kick-off during the upcoming weekend on Saturday evening, August 17th at the Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio. The regionally located Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) non-wing sprint cars will be on hand at the Sharon 3/8’s mile oval on Saturday evening. Brandon Spithaler leads the current B.O.S.S. series’ standings after seven (7) rounds of competition. The pilot of the Tom Burkey owned ‘57B’ non-wing sprinter owns two (2) career Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series wins; both coming at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Spithaler’s most recent B.O.S.S. win took shape back on May 25th, 2013. The ‘Ontario Topless Sprints’ will be co-sanctioning this event. Brandon Spithaler will keep the wings off again this Sunday, August 18th; and venture north to the Eriez Speedway near Erie, Pennsylvania. The non-wing ‘Ontario Topless Sprints’ (O.T.S) will be on hand at Eriez for a Sunday evening program; featuring a healthy mixture of Canadian and American non-wing ‘410’ sprint car competitors. Spithaler will face-off against a healthy roster of traveling O.T.S. racers including current series point leader, John Watson. With a day-off in between, Brandon Spithaler will return to winged competition on Tuesday evening, August 20th; this time, back at the Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio. Spithaler will take part in the annual ‘Lou Blaney Memorial’ worth $5,000 for the ‘410’ sprint cars. NASCAR stars, Dave Blaney and Kyle Larson, will also be a part of the Tuesday night action at Sharon Speedway.
