A top-five for Brock Zearfoss at Port Royal Speedway

JONESTOWN, PA (June 5, 2017) – Continuing a stretch of success at Port Royal (PA) Speedway, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss finished fourth at the “Speed Palace” on Saturday evening, June 3; his eighth top-ten finish in ten tries at the Juniata County Fairgrounds. The pilot of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Meckley’s Limestone/Central Builders Supply Co./Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint & Supply/No. 3Z is currently fifth in the track championship chase, trailing the leader by 200 markers, and will have the opportunity to climb higher in the hunt when he returns on Saturday, June 10.
“Things have been going really well at Port Royal this season,” Zearfoss explained. “Our car was really good on Saturday. We even tried a few things before the main event and they worked out for the better. My crew does one hell of the job. We’ve been having a lot of fun this season. It allows us to stay relaxed and perform better. We’re going to keep digging and battle for that championship.”
Zearfoss will return to competition this Thursday through Saturday with three consecutive events in Central Pennsylvania, first visiting Susquehanna Speedway near York Haven on Thursday, June 8. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native will continue on Friday night, June 9, with an appearance at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, all capped off with his return to Port Royal Speedway on Saturday.
Like prior starts, Brock Zearfoss will pilot the Aaron Long-owned No. 58 on Friday night at Williams Grove Speedway, recently finishing 13th aboard the H&N Landscaping/RV 4 Wheel Drive/Leahys Auto Body & Towing backed machine.
“Our performance was much better than what the results read,” Zearfoss explained. “Aaron Long and I are still learning a lot about each other. It takes a lot of time and a lot of laps to grow comfortable with a new car and a new team, especially when only making one start a week. Regardless, we have a ton of potential and I’m excited to keep moving closer toward the front.”
