Denver, PA (October 6th, 2014) – ‘Super’ Alan Krimes advanced sixteen positions on Saturday evening, October 4th against perhaps the most competitive field of ‘410’ sprint car racers in the country. Krimes, who pilots the Midnite Antiques Motorsports, Conestoga Valley Garage, Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, no. 87 ‘410’ sprinter, started 26th on Saturday evening during the 52nd Annual Williams Grove Speedway ‘National Open’ sanctioned by the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, and would rally to a tenth place finish; earning the KSE Hard Charger Award against the ‘Greatest Show on Dirt.’ The Denver, Pennsylvania native earned his way into the 40-lap, $50,000-to-win main event by using a Williams Grove Speedway track provisional. Unfortunately, Alan Krimes failed to transfer into the evening’s A-main during preliminary competition, but was granted a provisional due to his current position in the Williams Grove Speedway  driver point standings (fourth). David Gravel was the $50,000 winner.

Alan Krimes will return to competition in central Pennsylvania this Friday and Saturday, October 10th and 11th; making visits to the Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway over the course of the weekend. The Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania will host its last point race of the 2014 season this Friday evening, October 10th. Alan Krimes will enter the evening fourth in the current driver championship chase. The recent Williams Grove Speedway ‘hard charger’ trails Lance Dewease, who is third in the standings, by 190 markers; and trails the current point leader, Greg Hodnett, by 590 markers. Krimes will work towards his first Williams Grove Speedway win of 2014 this Friday night.

Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania will host its final race of the 2014 season on Saturday evening, October 11th; featuring a full program for the ‘410’ sprint cars. Alan Krimes, who already earned the 2014 Lincoln Speedway track championship, will seek win number three of 2014 at the Pigeon Hills oval this Saturday night. The former UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions main event winner at the Abbottstown oval has been an active force week-in and week-out at the Lincoln Speedway; earning eight top-five finishes and thirteen top-ten finishes during his 2014 championship campaign.

‘Super’ Alan Krimes will enter the upcoming weekend fifth (5th) in the current SPEEDWAY MOTORS/CHAMPION RACING OIL PA SPRINT CAR SERIES Presented by Hoseheads.com point standings with 766 points; on the strength of two (2) Central Pennsylvania victories.

The Midnite Antiques Motorsports/Conestoga Valley Garage/Wayne Corini/Krimes Racing Engines/VRP Shocks/ ‘Super 87’ team will be a part of all of the action each and every weekend in the heart of ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ territory; chasing track championships at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway.
