Back-to-Back Top-Ten Finishes

DENVER, Pa. (March 10, 2016) – “Super” Alan Krimes has always been one to show speed at Lincoln Speedway, and that is certainly the case once again in 2016. The former Lincoln Speedway track champion scored back-to-back top-ten finishes during his first two starts of the season in the Pigeon Hills, including a third place performance during his most recent start on Sunday, March 6. Krimes kicked-off his 2016 campaign with a sixth place finish during the annual Icebreaker 30 on Sunday, February 28.
“This is a great way to start the year” Alan Krimes said, “I think we had a shot at winning last weekend, but came up a little short after a late restart. We are going to work as hard as we can to keep this streak going. I want to take some time to thank all of those who are helping our team this year. Wayne Corini has always been a huge supporter and we thank him for that. I also want to thank Abe Service Company, Glick’s Auto Body and Towing, and Roadrunner Race Fuels for stepping up this year. We couldn’t do it without them.”
Alan Krimes will make his return to Lincoln Speedway this Saturday afternoon, March 12, for another round of 410 sprint car competition. The Denver, Pennsylvania, native currently sits fourth in the track championship hunt, trailing point leader and Icebreaker 30 winner, Greg Hodnett, by 35 markers.
“We have a long season ahead” Krimes explained, “We’ll work to stay consistent and earn a few wins…try to earn another track championship.”
