Denver, PA (May 10th, 2013) – Denver, Pennsylvania’s Alan Krimes has been on a tear thus far in 2013 at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. The recent Lincoln Speedway winner and track championship contender for 2013 currently sits second (2nd) in the ‘410’ driver standings at the speedway; on the strength of one (1) victory, six (6) top five and nine (9) top ten finishes. The ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ regular has also been ultra-consistent in other parts of Central Pennsylvania, and currently rides fourth (4th) in the Central PA ‘410’ sprint car standings. With bigger paying programs on the horizon at Lincoln Speedway, including a major event next Wednesday evening, there is no better time and opportunity for Alan Krimes to prove to Lincoln Speedway fans, and to the rest of Central Pennsylvania, that he is the ‘real deal.’

The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series will be making a visit to the ‘Fabulous’ Lincoln Speedway next Wednesday evening, May 15th, for the ‘Gettysburg Clash;’ bringing with them one of the most talented rosters of ‘410’ sprint car competition on the planet. Alan Krimes will practice for the  Outlaw invasion this Saturday evening, May 11th; as the Lincoln Speedway will host an ‘Outlaw Tune-Up’ event to help prepare the drivers and teams for the ‘Greatest Show on Dirt.’ The ‘Outlaw Tune-Up’ in the Pigeon Hills will feature a full Outlaws-style format for the ‘410’ sprint cars; including qualifying time trials. Alan Krimes, who pilots the familiar Conestoga Valley Garage no. 87 ‘410’ sprint car, has never won a World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series event, but hopes to check it off of his bucket list as early as next Wednesday. Krimes finished 11th during last year’s World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series appearance at the Lincoln Speedway; rallying from a 13th row starting position to earn the top twelve finish.

Alan Krimes, and the entire Conestoga Valley Garage ‘87’ program, may make a visit to the Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown, Pennsylvania on Sunday, May 12th, for the Mother’s Day Sprint Car Special. The ‘410’ sprint cars will be highlighted with a 25-lap main event paying $3,500 to win. Krimes has not stated officially if the ‘87’ team will make the trip, but with Williams Grove Speedway already cancelling their Friday night, May 10th program; it is likely that Alan Krimes will be seen at Susquehanna on Sunday.

The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series ‘Tune-Up’ at the Lincoln Speedway is scheduled to begin at 7:00PM on May 11th; with qualifying time trials set for 7:30PM. For more information on the ‘Tune-Up’ event, or to find additional information regarding the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series event at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, May 15th; please visit the speedway online at www.lincolnspeedway.com.
