All Star Triple-Header Weekend Begins Tonight for Danny Holtgraver
Phoenix Racing Will Visit New York and Pennsylvania with ‘America’s Series’

Pittsburgh, PA (June 11th, 2015) – The 2015 UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions schedule will continue this weekend with three consecutive events in New York and Pennsylvania. The series will visit three different facilities in two different states over a three day time period during the upcoming weekend; beginning later this evening, Thursday, June 11th, in Canandaigua, New York. Full-time UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions traveler Danny Holtgraver will join ‘America’s Series’ during the triple-header weekend; searching for that first victory of 2015 and his first victory since joining Phoenix Racing. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native was a three-time UNOH All Star main event winner in 2014.
“Ready to get back on the road and race” said Danny Holtgraver, “We have a pretty busy weekend ahead and then we fall right into Ohio Speedweek beginning next Friday…having a busy schedule is a good problem to have….keeps us focused…just want to thank Tom and Sherry Leidig again for this opportunity…we’ve been good and bad this year…we just need to keep moving forward.”
Danny Holtgraver and Phoenix Racing will begin the All Star Circuit of Champions triple-header weekend later this evening at the Canandaigua Motorsports Park in Canandaigua, New York. After their visit to Canandaigua for the first time this season, the Phoenix Racing, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, DKW Transport, Auto Electric of Jupiter, Florida, Southern Pacific Farms, ‘59’ team will travel south to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday night, June 12th; followed by a visit to the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 13th. Danny Holtgraver will enter the weekend seventh in the current All Star Circuit of Champions standings with four top-five and seven top-ten finishes.
“This will be our first trip to Canandaigua this year” said Holtgraver about the upcoming weekend, “We’ve been to Williams Grove and Lincoln already this year so we’ll look at our notes and see what we have to do…I’m comfortable at Williams Grove and I always seem to have pretty good results there…Lincoln can be tough to get around…we need to qualify better there and get ourselves a better starting position in a heat race…our season has been tough on us…it’s been tough on us mentally so we need to work on getting our confidence back.”
During the recent weekend, Danny Holtgraver and Phoenix Racing visited the Lernerville Speedway, Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway and Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway; highlighted with one top-five finish at the Lernerville Speedway during a ‘Fab Four’ racing program. Holtgraver finished second at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday night, June 5th; followed by an 11th place finish with the All Star Circuit of Champions at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 6th. Danny Holtgraver rounded out the recent weekend with a 17th place finish at the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania on Sunday, June 7th; once again with the All Star Circuit of Champions.
