Colton Flinner Earns Top-Five at ‘PPMS’/ Searching for Birthday Victory
Back to Work in Western Pennsylvania this Friday and Saturday

Allison Park, PA (June 11th, 2015) – Super late model sophomore Colton Flinner has been all over the map thus far in 2015; traveling as far west as Rossburg, Ohio and as far east as Jamaica, Virginia. The Allison Park, Pennsylvania native has also competed in areas closer to home such as Sarver, Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This weekend, Colton Flinner will return to familiar territory with plans to visit the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each facility will host full weekly programs for the super late models. Colton Flinner will hunt for his first ever super late model victory during the upcoming weekend, as well as an opportunity to celebrate his 21st birthday in victory lane.
“I turn 21 tomorrow so a win this weekend would be a perfect way to celebrate” said Colton Flinner, “We had a great weekend last weekend…our confidence is high right now and that is a great thing heading into the busy part of the summer…our plan is to visit Lernerville Speedway on Friday and Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday…our trip to Lernerville is about 50/50 right now but Pittsburgh is definite…Friday will depend on work and weather…I’m having more fun now than I ever had…we want to get that first super late model win bad!”
Colton Flinner will enter the upcoming weekend with a recent top-five finish during super late model competition. Flinner, driver of the American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, Randig Towing, Paradise Vending, no. 75 super late model, finished fifth during feature action at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway on Saturday, June 6th. Flinner, a former two-time Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway crate late model track champion, will return to ‘P.P.M.S.’ this Saturday, June 13th with Lernerville on the agenda for Friday, June 12th.
“The car was fast last weekend!” said Colton Flinner, “Felt great to get a top-five finish…we are still learning…we learn every time we race and that is most important…we travel as much as we can so I can gain some extra experience…we’ll try to get even closer towards the front this weekend and earn that birthday win.”
