Pittsburgh, PA (June 5th, 2014) – ‘On the road again..’ is a constant theme for Danny Holtgraver’s 2014 racing campaign. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native prepares for yet another three-race swing this weekend; this time through the areas of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Holtgraver, who pilots the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H ‘410’ sprint car, will enter events at three (3) different racing venues this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 6th, 7th & 8th; racing in three (3) different states against three (3) different groups of ‘410’ sprint car competitors. The three-race swing kicks off for Holtgraver and Hunter Racing this Friday evening, June 6th with a visit to the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio.
Danny Holtgraver will venture to the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio this Friday evening, June 6th; set to take-on the best that northwestern Ohio has to offer. Night #7 of the 2014 Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service will be the featured program on the Friday night racing card, with a large chunk of Ohio’s finest ‘410’ aces set to be present. Holtgraver, a former winner at the Attica bullring, last visited ‘A.R.P.’ back on Friday, May 30th during World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series competition. Unfortunately, the former Lernerville Speedway champ was unable to qualify for the evening’s $10,000-to-win World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series main event. The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will continue their 2014 racing campaign on Saturday evening, June 7th with a visit to the Butler Speedway near Quincy, Michigan. Holtgraver, a three-time UNOH All Star main event winner in 2013 and full-time competitor with the series again in 2014, will enter the Butler Speedway event ranked fourth (4th) in the current UNOH All Star ‘National’ point standings, and fifth (5th) in the current UNOH All Star ‘Ohio Region’ point standings. Dale Blaney is the current point leader in both categories. Holtgraver finished seventh (7th) during his most recent UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions start; back on Saturday, May 31st at the NAPA Wayne County Speedway near Orrville, Ohio. Danny Holtgraver’s upcoming three-race weekend will come to a close with another round of ‘Dirt Classic’ presented by Kasey Kahne qualifying held at the Bedford Speedway in Bedford, Pennsylvania. The $5,000-to-win ‘Ray Morral Tribute’/ ‘Dirt Classic’ qualifier at Bedford Speedway will take place on Sunday evening, June 8th; featuring a healthy roster of Ohio, western Pennsylvania and ‘Pennsylvania Posse’ talent. Holtgraver was in action for the first ‘Dirt Classic’ presented by Kasey Kahne qualifier held at the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markleysburg, Pennsylvania back on Sunday, June 1st. The pilot of the Hunter Racing ‘10H’ finished second (2nd) during the $5,000-to-win main event. The Pittsburgh native led most of the thirty-lapper before surrendering the top spot to eventual winner, Danny Dietrich, on the final circuit. Only the winner of each qualifier is guaranteed a starting position in the $20,000-to-win ‘Dirt Classic’ presented by Kasey Kahne main event; being held at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 27th.
