Atomic and Millstream Headline Weekend Agenda

Pittsburgh, PA (September 24, 2015) – After spending back-to-back nights at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio, for the annual Jim Ford Classic doubleheader, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native Danny Holtgraver will turn his attention back toward the “Buckeye State” for another pair of UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions events this Saturday and Sunday. Holtgraver, pilot of the Phoenix Racing, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, Auto Electric of Jupiter, Southern Pacific Farms, #59, will join the UNOH All Stars at Atomic Speedway and Millstream Speedway during the upcoming weekend, beginning with a Saturday night, September 26, visit to the Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio.
“The season is closing down here pretty quick” explained Holtgraver, “Not a lot left on our schedule, but that doesn’t mean our focus has changed. We’ll keep working and keep trying things with a goal to get up front. The potential to earn victories has been with us all season, we just haven’t been able to capitalize on it yet. We’ll work to make it happen on Saturday when we get to Atomic.”
Action will continue on Sunday evening, September 27, back at the Millstream Speedway in Findlay, Ohio. Holtgraver earned a top-five performance during his last appearance at Millstream back on Sunday, July 5. The former Lernerville Speedway track champion finished fourth during the UNOH All Star main event after starting 14th on the grid. “Downtown” Danny Holtgraver will enter the upcoming UNOH All Star doubleheader eighth in the current championship standings; amassing seven top-five and 17 top-ten finishes thus far in 2015.
Holtgraver finished inside the top-twelve during the entire Jim Ford Classic weekend at Fremont Speedway, finishing 10th during the $3,000 preliminary on Friday, September 18, and 12th during the $10,000-to-win, Jim Ford Classic finale on Saturday, September 19. An average turnout of 36 UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions sprint cars packed the Fremont Speedway pit area during the weekend program.
“Not a terrible weekend for us at Fremont, but we still have some things we need to improve on” said Holtgraver, “Cody Jacobs and I communicate well and we both have similar game plans when we get to the next track. We’ll continue to grow comfortable with each other and improve.”
